Thank God it’s Friday, Whew! Spring break really had me messed up. I spent the whole break doing nothing but relaxing, like I shared with you guys in my last post, and if I may be honest with you guys, I wish I hadn’t, lol. This week started off looking really great not until school and work load hits me really hard. Everything started spiraling out of order, from my study schedule, to work and every other thing in between. I’m so glad I made it!

Hey, Favorites, seems like an eternity since I last spoke to you, riiiiight? I missed you so much. Well, it’s evident that nursing school is taking a toll on me, but we all know success isn’t built on fear.

Just before I left for Hawaii, I experienced one of the worst days of my life. It was a Wednesday, the 11th of July. I woke up pretty early, as usual, stayed under the duvet for a little while, reached for my laptop which was sitting next to me and started uploading a video on my youtube channel.

I already shared this news on my YouTube but I figured I need to tell you guys here because someone of you might not have seen it yet. Yes, I have a dream. A big one at that, bigger than me as I like to say. One of my dreams is to become a Nurse but honestly, I don’t know how it’s going to happen.

In today’s blog post I really just wanna share with you that it is important to show love to people regardless of the relationship you have with them. Life is truly short, that person you are holding back from telling them how much they mean to you might be gone in a split second.

What is wrong with me? This is a question that I had to ask myself several times in the past few months or so and the answer that came to mind was to “QUIT”. I know I didn’t want to do that in my gut, so I decided to take another long break from blogging, YouTube, Instagram and photo shoots.

Hi lovelies, this is my first clothing store collaboration this season. As you may already know I have been away from the United States for a while. Well, I’m finally settling down, which means its time for me to touch on some of my favorite spring/summer trend of 2018.

Visiting Nigeria was refreshing for me. I almost didn’t want to leave. The love you feel with friends of many years and family pales in comparison to new friends you make in a foreign land. From my visit to the longest canopy walk to Ibadan trips etc., I had a fantastic time being back home.

Happy Wednesday lovelies. It looks and feels like I’ve been off for a while, pardon me. I just returned back to the USA and I have had too much to do. I also kinda lost the inspiration to write and style for a while too. This had to do with making sure my life outside social media looks as beautiful as what it seems behind your screens. I’m a strong believer in letting one’s success speak for them, but sometimes for that to happen we need to take breaks from some things we love.

Still, on the quest of showing the beauty of Africa and most especially Nigeria. I decided to have a photoshoot at the famous Mapo hall in Ibadan. This is yet another beautiful place with a lot of history to go with it. Mapo Hall is the colonial style Ibadan City Hall. Perched on top of Mapo Hill and popularly known as (Oke-mapo).

Home is sweet, My experience so far in Nigeria has been blissful. I will try to summarize the first few weeks of my visit into writing, but to have a real feel of what I have been up to, Head over to my YouTube channel.

It’s my blogs anniversary month and a start to a new platform. Oh wow, good to be back and better on this platform, I wouldn’t pretend like I have posted in the longest time. I told you guys in my previous blog post that I was going to work on improving my brand and trying out new things.

Even though I might be a couple weeks late, I’ve finally caught the fall bug. And I did it with this power red trend. This is the longest I have stayed without blogging, I am well and alive lol. I just had to set my priorities right and channel my energy toward the most important things at the time. With that being said, I really did miss blogging.
